Aggravated Assault
Census 2018 Sheraden Bergman St & Ashlyn St On 5/21/18 witnesses reported hearing several gunshots followed by a large bang. One witness observed an SUV that was crashed into a parked vehicle. The SUV was occupied by a black male and a black female. The occupants quickly fled the scene prior to police arrival. The Officers observed several bullet holes in the crashed and abandoned SUV. The driver was described as a black male, 18 years old wearing a blue denim jacket. The passenger was described as a black female wearing a gray sweatshirt. (5/21 2010hrs) CCR 95596
Census 2814 Crafton Heights 900 Woodlow St On 5/26/18 officers responded to call for shots fired. A female victim with gunshot wound was located on scene and transported to hospital for medical treatment in critical condition. (5/26/18 0010 hrs) CCR 98852
Arson
Census 2023 Banksville 2200 Wenzell Ave On 5/24/18 the victim reported that an unknown actor set a couch on fire that was left on a porch. The fire was extinguished by the Dormont Fire Department. Witnesses reported that they heard a firework go off shortly before the fire started. (5/24 1622hrs) CCR 97804
Burglary
Census 2018 Sheraden 3100 Landis St On 5/21/18 the victim reported that an unknown actor forced open a garage door and entered the building. Once inside the actor smashed the window of a vehicle that was parked inside and removed a radio before fleeing. (5/21 0001 - 010hrs) CCR 95142
Theft
Census 1920 Beechview 2500 Banksville Rd On 5/28/18 two unknown male actors entered the store and removed items. The males fled in a Burgundy colored Jeep Cherokee. (5/28 0958hrs) CCR 100437
Census 2811 Westwood 2100 Noblestown Rd On 5/21/18 the victim reported that an unknown actor stole checks that were made out to a business. (5/21 1500 - 1535hrs) CCR 95655
Theft from Vehicle
Census 1920 Beechview 2100 Pauline Ave On 5/26/18 victim reported copper pipes and water pump stolen from back of his marked plumbing truck. Video surveillance retrieved and submitted for further investigation. (5/26/18 0354-0410 hrs) CCR 99059
